Scarves - How To Tie Them

Scarves come in such a diversity of colours, materials and different shapes and their beauty is just mesmerizing. Let your imagination run wild with the hundreds of ways to wear a scarf. It is the accessories people wear that distinguishes them from the rest, so these sleek things accentuate your mood, sense of style and personality. There are many ways to tie the gorgeous scarves that can be changed to suit your mood and style, whether it is Cashmere, knit, square - each type can be used to accentuate your style.

When in doubt of how to tie a scarf there is one method that always works no matter the material or pattern - the ends should be brought together, as it is folded in half. Put the folded shawl around the neck, leaving each end hanging down in front. Then, pull the loose end through the loop and there you have it - picture perfect! This method is actually great for cold days and makes you look stylish while keeping you warm. The cold weather undoubtedly calls for a little something around the neck to keep us warm. This can be worn with blazers and dressy jackets - wrap it up around the neck as many times as possible, tucking the ends underneath. Beautiful collars will not be covered this way!
Square shawls can be worn like that - make a triangle out of the square and let the pointy end lay down on the chest, the wide part of it being up, then simply put the loose ends around the neck and lay them in the front.
Another great way is to wrap it around your neck, allowing one end to hang in the front, the other one in the back and you will accomplish an elegant look - best with satin and silk scarves.
Patterned neck wear will best look worn like this - wrapping the fabric loosely around the neck and letting the ends hang in the front - this look gives the bohemian style.
A light, sheer wide shawl for example cashmere, can give you a very sophisticated and chic look if you just cover up with it, the askew look of it gives an elegant look.
Those beautiful shawls are not limited to be worn only around our necks. An edgy, interesting look can be easily created if a knot is tied in the middle and placed on a favorite handbag. Who wouldn't notice it? Without even trying hard the look we choose can be easily remembered by others, because it is a new and unusual way of presenting this accessory.
There always is an occasion for wearing scarves, they always look good and people are relying on them to create a certain je ne Sais qui about them. Enjoy and get creative, there are plenty of great ways to wear them!
