Here's the bitch's petition to save our local hospital from those evil Liberals:
lisamacleod.com - PETITION: STOP THE PROPOSED ER CUT AT WDMH Lots of "whereas" and "we the undersigned" to make it sound all official.
Christine Elliot [Deputy PC Leader and Opposition Health Critic]is also a lying manipulative cuntrag. She joined Lisa to "support her constituents who want to stop emergency room services cuts at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital mandated by the Champlain LHIN, and launched a petition campaign to say to the Champlain LHIN "Hands off our ER"."
lisamacleod.com - HANDS OFF OUR ER
They spread rumours that the hospital was closing the ER or cutting back on hours which naturally upset a lot of people in the community so they signed her stupid petition and showed up at the rally to save their hospital.
^The lying bitches at their rally.
Hospital officials came out and denied that there were any cuts or closings. Cows insisted that there were and proudly announced on twitter that their rally had saved the hospital.
"Champlain LHIN has sudden change of heart (for now) on evening closure of Winchester ER, though option still part of survey ending today. 8:14 AM Feb 11th via ?berTwitter"Source
(I've got to say her twitter is one of the most vapid, petty unprofessional things I've ever seen from a public figure.)
The Sun(tabloid rag) dutifully reported that the brave politicians were fighting for the people. Fighting for Winchester hospital Politicians and public rally to keep ER open at night
even though the Ottawa Citizen had already debunked the whole thing in their article that ran THE DAY BEFORE.
Ontario Tories take aim at non-existent plan to close Winchester?s ER
and they're still having to run stories denying cuts and closures.
"Winchester District Memorial Hospital is doing damage control after being deluged by complaints from more than 4,000 residents objecting to emergency-room cuts, even though neither the hospital nor the regional health authority has any such plan. The hospital?s chief, Trudy Reid, wants an explanation from Progressive Conservative MPP Lisa MacLeod, who staged a public rally this month accusing the governing Liberals of putting Winchester?s ER ?on the chopping block.?
Neither MacLeod nor deputy Conservative leader Christine Elliott, who accompanied the Nepean-Carleton MPP to the rally, could provide evidence of any such decision."
More at source: No cuts at Winchester ER, residents told
A completely manufactured crisis to get people riled up. This is beyond scummy.
Also, what's up with conservatives waving all the big blue dildoes?
Nepean-Carleton MPP Lisa MacLeod helped Progressive Conservative leader Tim Hudak kick off the party's campaign for power in the fall provincial election at a rally in Ottawa last October.
