Celebrity Street Style of the Week: Ashley Tisdale, Selena Gomez, & Ashley Madekwe
Every week, I scour the web to find inspiring outfits on your favorite celebs and help you recreate their looks! This week, I was inspired by Ashley Tisdale, Selena Gomez, and Ashley Madekwe. Read on to see how you can get their looks for yourself.
Look 1: Ashley Tisdale’s Everyday Glam

Ashley Tisdale shows us that there’s no reason to save glam looks for special occasions in this ultra-chic yet casual ensemble. Ashely took a pair of super-destroyed boyfriend jeans and a comfy white top, then glam-ified them with a layered statement necklace, marled coat, structured handbag, mirrored aviators, and studded Valentino flats. Ashley’s outerwear and accessories totally transform her outfit into a ladylike look with a modern, edgy twist.

Ashley’s outfit expertly blends prim and proper pieces with more laid-back items, and the resulting look is both polished and cool. Boyfriend jeans are super-comfy, and a white t-shirt can be worn with almost anything.
The high neckline on this top shows off the layered statement necklace, while the extreme distressing on this pair of boyfriend jeans keeps things trendy. A structured handbag looks sleek and ladylike, and even through Ashley’s Valentino flats probably aren’t hanging around in our closets, we can get a similar look with these studded trim flats. A menswear-inspired gray marled coat pulls the entire outfit together.
Look 2: Selena Gomez’s Edgy Cool

Selena Gomez filmed a commercial in NYC this week, and was spotted in an edgy yet feminine look that’s perfect for spring. Selena started with the super-cute pairing of a printed circle skirt and chambray blouse. She upped the edginess by adding sheer tights, red socks, combat boots, a black infinity scarf, and a dark gray coat. Her red socks add an unexpected pop of color, while the combat boots contrast with her more clean-cut skirt and top.

Selena’s outfit is a cute and campus-worthy option for the transition from winter to spring. A black-and-white floral print skirt pairs nicely with this denim-look blouse, but since it’s chilly outside, embrace your edginess by adding red socks worn over black tights, as well as combat boots, an infinity scarf, and a gray coat. This dark gray hooded utility jacket is a cozy yet stylish choice, while the red socks add a totally unexpected pop of color.
Look 3: Ashley Madekwe’s Sleek Night Out Look

Actress Ashley Madekwe is known for her awesome personal style; she’s always on-trend, but adds a personal flair that makes her style unique. Ashley was spotted out on the town recently in a silky top tucked into some high-waisted jeans, a leather moto jacket, and strappy heeled sandals.
Ashley’s look is casual yet sleek, with a classic vibe. I also love her red lipstick and matching red nail polish – a fab example of color-coordination at its finest!

To get this look, find a pair of great-fitting jeans that have a mid or high rise. Wear them with some strappy heeled sandals – the sandals featured here boast some unique contrasting metal trim. A silky top tucked into the jeans looks polished for a night out, while a black moto jacket adds a cool touch.
Don’t forget to add a pop of color! You can keep it classic like Ashley did with red lips and nail polish, or try out a unique clutch. The embellishments on this green lucite clutch really make it stand out.
