There are places and men who still believe a woman's place is in the home, not many but they are out there. On your neck, a great pearl necklace says that you are powerful and ready for business.
The suit has to be a perfect fit, not too tight and not too lose either, it must fit perfectly and you must feel perfect in it too. A pony tail or a tight bun in the back of the head is perfect, loose hair may distract them when it moves; you want all their eyes on you.
This is perfect for your battle outfit, it is not necessary to wear it every day. On regular working days, khaki or light brown is a great colour you cannot miss with. Always try to keep your blouse white or light tan or any other colour that is light and pastel, preferably completely neutral.
See-through blouses and low cleavage blouses are out of the question, you want to keep their eyes on your face and not your body. It is not imperative that women wear conservative closed, black clothes, but the point is for you to dress elegantly and for men to take you seriously in the job. Women's clothing for work must be simple and elegant.
Do not wear too many colours or stamped dresses and blouses, too many colours distract attention and people tend to stop listening when they get distracted. Part of the business woman's image is the way she walks and talks too. It is a general concept that all women do is gossip, even when they are working women with corporate responsibilities. Keep your laughter light, keep the juicy stuff in your purse to discuss after work and always above all, look them in the eye, let them know you are not afraid and one day you will also be their boss.
